you know what after looking at the scion website and seeing how much the FRS is for Manuel and Auto I think the BRZ is going to start at $26-27 and limited $28-$29k

its just a feeling of what im seeing out there...the BRZ has so much more options then the FRS that there going to mark it up $2k more then the FRS

but thats just my two cents...guys

trust me i'm PREYING for the price NOT to be that..

Technically it doesn't have to be priced in relation to the FR-S at all. If Subaru really wanted to they could sell it for 23k. They won't, but they *could*. Asking a 2K premium for different seat fabric, HIDs, nav and a trunk liner would equal "zero" BRZ Premium sales IMO. They are priced higher than Toyota overseas, but not as badly as we are talking about here... hard to compare I know, but still.

You guys are all forgetting what SUBARU said. They said last week that this car will be in the 25k neighborhood for the premium. That means it won't be 26k. It will be under that. Less than 26k definitely for the premium, and I'd really be surprised if the Limited was more than 28k.

If .... prices DO NOT come out in the next 2 days ... is it even possible for Subaru
to just launch their price online like Scion ... like " BAM ... here you go "..
I know they CAN ... but it would seem more logical to do so at an AUTOSHOW...

Many will likely say the FR-S/BRZ needs more power and while more wouldn’t hurt, those folks (the same ones who have probably never driven on a track) are missing the point.

Sorry you missed the not-so-hidden hint - the clue is right there, see the date? 2013

Edit: Reading the rest of this thread, I see someone else pointed this clue out...
