Killer first post. More driving impressions or be burned at the stake!

Even if 26-27k is accurate I doubt the second is. Subaru has said 2-2.5k additional for the limited for awhile now so 4k extra.. not happening IMO. And the car is simply NOT WORTH 30k IMO either.

I agree, for $30k I would drop anything I consider being worth from the BRZ/FRS and just get an IS250. I am 90% if they go that high it will fail terribly.

It is my guess the difference in price won't be that huge, at least if they still want to keep some sort of competition between Scion/Toyota and Subaru, otherwise no smart buyer will go for their car only because it has more "standard" features, at least I won't. I say 27k max for the limited manual.

Haha, I will when I get home from work. I took a bunch of pictures as well. It was awesome and the SOA rep was great. Even showed me a slideshow on his laptop that they use.

Only an idiot and/or world-class sucker would consider paying $30k MSRP for a BRZ. Hell, I would have a real hard time justifying this car at $30k OTD.

Looking at the 'pricing lottery' thread, I'm sure there will be people pissed at pricing...

What is your sales tax on cars? If it is around 8-9% the limited will be over $30k OTD. The premium obviously will be less than that OTD.

Yeah there will be people pissed. But those who really like the car will consider the pricing fair I think. Limited is pricey for sure but you do get more for your money.

OK, I'll rephrase.

For those who expected reasonable pricing, and not obviously too cheap pricing, you won't be pissed off at the pricing.

I can't see the limited breaking the $30k ceiling. Maybe $29,995.00

MSRP, you are correct. However OTD pricing it will if you pay sales tax on cars.
