This is true. The computer is wrong with e85 or if you change injectors. You have to divide the miles travelled on the tank by the amount of e85 to fill up to full to get a accurate messurement. Driving nice i would suspect 22 to 24mpg on e85(mostly highway). Driving around in the city going WOT all the time will probably net you less than 20.

So another question for the corn juicers. I read that Shiv's tune works pretty well with a varied ethanol level, e60 and up I believe.

What is the maximum amount (gallons) of 91OCT I can have mixed with E85?

Want corn juice so badly Just trying to figure out the feasibility of it

My usual routine has always been to drive until the empty light comes on, then get $20 worth of 93 oct. No reason to carry around extra weight. $20 worth lasts an average of 2 days.
Now when the empty light comes on I give it a five gallon jug at a time (about $20 worth of 93 oct.) and it lasts for an average of 2 days.
So it appears that my millage is one tenth of a gallon worse on alcohol. I know that's impossible but facts are facts.
By the way, the last E-85 I got cost $3.05 a gallon and the last 93 oct I got was $3.69. So alcohol is MORE economical. And more powerful. Impossible.
My WORST tank of 94 octane to date was 22.4MPG and that is WOT all the time, 0-200km/hr runs and dyno time on the same tank when testing the TQ300.

My average tank with quite a bit of WOT and a bit of highway everyday(40 miles total) Usually gets me 27-28mpg.

I am so clumsy. In the rush to install I breezed through the install of the compressor. Looking at it now it was not lined up. I spent some time lining it up including trimming a mm or 2 of the tubing so it would sit more flush with the air intake box and straighter to the throttle intake. The compressor is heavy and pulls down on the air intake. Tightening it flush props it up and straightr. The car drives even cleaner and more responsive now while in stock. Just now changing from 1st to 2nd in boost was seamless. No clunk. I feel stupid. Lol. I may have to edit my review. I did this all on my lunch break. I just want to quit work now so I can go drive it some more.

Awesome im glad it helped you out. I was going to say my first to second shifts are often my best and sharpest. Just have to watch out when it is raining as a fast 1 - 2 shift often results in spinning to redline in the next gear

Where I live (CA) probably 2.5 - 3.0 gallons MAX of CA91 premium and the rest e85, depending on the actual ethanol content of the E85. I usually only put 1.0 - 1.5 gals of CA91. Still, a little trial and error will go a long way using your OFT logs to see if things are getting way out of whack. in the end @Shiv@Openflash can probably best answer this question.

It seems like a common theme that if you're not totally impressed with the ESC then YOU probably did something wrong with the install.

I think that's why Rob has been working on updating the install instructions.

Yea. I just got to drive some more and I love it now. All of that manure I wrote about in the review regarding a poor 1st to 2nd gear transition and a numb stock driving feel is wrong. I will update NY review. My install was poor is all

This is a good check for everyone. Check your compressor's people. I seem yo remember when mine wasn't straight I was getting rougher shifts as well.

Its a super easy thing to overlook because from the top you can't tell.

Glad to see you are really liking it

Just to make sure I understand this. If I am looking at the compressor from the top down (looking at ground through engine) Im going to consider ground to sky as the y axis, passenger side to driver side as x, and front to back as the z axis. Which axis should I be looking at?

But the degrees would be on the y axis I guess. Basically my ESC was pointing too much to the ground. I had to point it more to the sky.

I think I got you. I should be doing the rotation around the z axis. So using the right hand rule.
