The time has come : (
Well everyone, after only owning the FRS for 5-6 months now, the time has come to trade her in. My fiance and I found out she is 6 weeks pregnant. Now we will be upgrading to something bigger, with 4 doors and more power. So we have calculated it down to 3 decisions. (1) 2015 Mitsubishi Evo X MR, (2) 2016 Chevrolet SS, (3) 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe. Now I do work for GM which consists of GMC, Chevy, Buick, Cadillac, so I would get an employee's discount on the 2 obvious choices. But we have both wanted an Evo X MR for quite some time now. This will be our 1st child, so I know we will have our hands full at first, but please weigh in on your opinions and thoughts if you had to choose. Greatly appreciated 👍🏼

Check the Vin number....buy something with the first letter being a J.
Anything else, you'll be spending lots of time babysitting in a waiting room at a dealership for warranty work often. |

Nahhhh. The SS is as bulletproof as they come. If there's one thing the General is good at, it's LS motors mated to T56 transmissions.

Don't listen to the Mitsu haters (this is a predominantly Subie fan forum) I have had 7 (wife still has one) and never had an issue. 3 of them had over 250K on them when traded and had not seen the shop once other than regular service visits.
If you can still find a new Evo than go for it since this is the last chance for one. Don't bother with a used though unless you know exactly who had it and how it was driven.

I would just say test drive them all, double-check your priorities and balance them as needed, and go with what you feel is best.

Buy the EVO, rip out the engine, drop it into a minivan. End o' problems.
