Got to our website http://AZPTrackEvents.com Steve Katz owns OnTrackInsurance. They are the best track insurance guys and he will be able to cover you at our event. There is a link to his site there.

I tried the quick quote option to see ballpark pricing and for a car value of $26K it's $175 for the day, at first thought that doesn't seem too bad at all

(though I have no idea of the market...)

Found this from their FAQ useful too -
4: Can I cancel my policy before the event date?
Yes , Cancellations online prior to 12:01 AM the morning of the event will receive a full refund including the processing fee. Cancellations after that time will require proof from the organizer that your vehicle was not present at the track site and did not enter any part of the grounds. If this was met, you will receive a refund less the $25 processing fee. Should the event be cancelled by organizer, you will receive a full refund including the processing fee.
5: Will my vehicle be covered if the instructor drives my car?
Yes, the instructor is automatically included. One additional person can be included if they are listed on the application.

And I know they have paid out on the very few times they covered a car in an accident.

You've got to be kidding me. I know it's a long way out but I went through a lot of heck changing schedules around to make this event. And now this?
