FA20 Part Guide Resealing Engine

Hey Everybody,

I tried to order the seals without the OEM head gaskets for a rebuild I'm attempting however I found it cheaper to order the whole kit. A lot of places are charging $222 for this same seal kit.

You can either buy the whole kit for $141.20 + shipping: 10105AB550

Or you can buy the broken out list below for $180.43:
Part No. Part Name QTY
806792010 OILSEAL -92X109X8 1
806916080 O RING-16.1X2,3 2
11044AA810 GSKT -CYL HEAD 1
10944AA100 GSKT-CYL HEAD,2 1
10966AA041 GSKT-SPARK PL PIP 4
806915170 O RING-15.4X1.8 4
803916010 GSKT-16X21X2.3 1
806932030 O RING-32.6X2.7 3
806939060 O RING-39.0X2,0 1
806924120 O RING-23.8X2.8 1
806912190 O RING-12.1X2.5 3
806750080 OILSEAL -50X62X7 1
15090KA000 SEAL-OIL LEVEL 1
13270AA250 GSKT-ROCKER COVERRH 1
13272AA180 GSKT-ROCKER COVERLH 1
14035AA610 GSKT-INT MANIF 2
17555AA040 GSKT -FUEL PIPE 1
806931110 O RING-31.5X2.0 1
806933010 O RING-33.7X3.5 2
44011AC030 GASKET F 2

Thought it was something interesting; hopefully it helps someone out.

I don't see the five gallons of Three Bond RTV Silicone you will need as well.

This is indeed missing, Subaru should add this to the kit.

As many of these that have problems leaking, people still think three bond is the best sealant option?

Yes. When applied properly. The issue isn’t with the sealant since all FA20s use it with out many issues. The problem is that some get sloppy when removing and reapplying it.

I came to the same conclusion when rebuilding my engine. I did add a few other things that were not in the kit like HP injector seals and OCV filters.

I used three tubes of TB1217H but the third tube was hardly used and I actually resealed the cam subs trice because I accidentally rotated my box of shims which screwed my lash.
