Unfortunately no pics of this and not entirely in the trunk per-se but I've learned that you can fit the front bumper for the BRZ in the cabin with the rear seats down, front seat all the way forward and leaned all the way back and remove the head rest. In the same trip, I also tossed one of the front fenders in the trunk with plenty of room to spare.

I learned a few weeks ago that you could also fit the rear bumper into the trunk with the back seats down!

My friend had a free spare rear bumper and I picked it up in my FRS! I had one edge of the bumper in the trunk and the other edge of the bumper almost touching the passenger side window. The passenger seat had to be pushed all the way forward.

Doing some sprinkler maintenance, grabbed a 3m length of 25mm dia pvc pipe. Husband swore we’d never get it in. Just dropped the rear seat and pushed it into the passenger footwell. A little bit of a flex and the other end was tucked into the side of the boot on the driver’s side.

So instead of junk in the trunk you have loot in the boot?

I think you meant this as a joke, but yes it does. They want to ship and store them right side up. (photo from hft website customer reviews) Kind of kills the fun eh?

Do you think that during shipping the manufacturer/supplier has any control on how it's packed into a container.. Yes, it was a joke, and yes you've taken the 'fun' out of it... taken the wind out of my sails, so to speak..

So happens I used to work for Harbor Freight corporate, had regular involvement with supply chain, logistics, QA, and legal and yes they do have control over how it's packed into a container. That said, it is possible that other manufacturer/suppliers do not as HFT has no 'middle man' so there is no stage in the shipping process that they do not have oversight of.

Anything with chemicals like oil as these contain though have tighter regulations on how they are shipped. If they ship upside down and oil leaks it could cause fires or environmental damage. Companies can be fined for not shipping these right side up. When I was there, they had an issue due to customer return generators containing gasoline, leaking, and setting a truck on fire. That was taken very seriously by all parties involved and corrected immediately.

I didn't get any pictures since it was at night and too dark to get a good pic but I got 3 rolls of 4' and 14 rolls of 2' reflective foil insulation in the trunk, front seat and back seat.
Inside the car, it was me, all that insulation and no air left over to breathe.
