it actually feels more stable than a normal 2-post lift, if that makes sense.
I've had the BMW on this for 2 weeks now, I'm already using the car for storage haha. This is as stable as the floor or surface you have it on. Any imperfections in the concrete or floor will magnify into the stability of the car on it. |

The rubber blocks are fine. A little awkward to have to place them carefully. I bought a length of 2x6 to cut into blocks that will fit into the pans. If you go that route, make sure the grain is perpendicular to the pinch welds.
What's the Pro Stand?

Just saw this in the manual.
Do not work under an elevated Vehicle unless properly rated Vehicle Jack Stands are in place under the factory-recommended Lifting Points. Where do you put the jack stands if the lifting points are on the QuickJack? |

What this simply means is that if you somehow lift the car using anything other than factory lift points (some cars you can lift via subframe mounting points), then you need to have jack stands (or equivalent) under the lifting points. This is because that's the part of the chassis that is designed to hold the vehicle weight in its entirety.

It's also for liability purposes. That way if it does collapse and kill someone, they can say, "Oh, we told them to use jack stands also."
