Keyfob same as Toyota Prius, guise!

Hey all,

So I was with my cousin the other day on our way to grab some lunch, and noticed he had a Prius brochure in the door compartment. Decided to pull it out and flip through for funzies. Then I noticed that the keyfob used looks similar to the one that's available BRZ Limited trim. What a shame, cuz it's so fuggin ugly lolz. Thought I'd share the photo with you just for kicks.

Have a good day!

Yup, it's a Toyota-supplied part. There are also quite a few cases and covers floating around for that key design if you search online.

Leave it to Toyota to make ugly keys.

I knew it wasn't by Subaru.

The nice thing is, if you're like me, it never leaves your pocket, so no-one else will ever know how ugly it is. :P

The Smart Key is the same as Prius, Camry Hybrid, Highlander Hybrid, Corolla, etc., etc.

The non-smart key is the same as the RAV4, Yaris, Matrix, Corolla, etc., etc.

Not nearly as nice as when Subaru shared remote keys with BMW...

(BMW used gray buttons, but it was the same FCC ID and everything)

It is SO nice to leave the key in your pocket though.

I would prefer the Toyota fob, looks nicer IMO.
