Here's a local car we did an install on the end of last summer. UEL base kit with Delicious Tuning Flash N Go. He's been back a few times to add a catch can and just recently our Oil Cooler kit.

Here's my personal work in progress...I'm just about done with the wiring harness so hopefully it will be running soon

Hey Jesse, quick question. I saw you have an option for the FMIC that doesn't require cutting or replacing the crash beam. Are there any downsides to that solution? I really don't want to mess with anything safety related. Thanks!

You should totallllly make me one of those turbo heat shields...just saying

Also quick question for you. Your new 3 port catch can - I have noticed with other cans that run the PCV line and CCV line to a can and eliminate the other lines that they are all VTA cans with a breather filter on them. Technically your setup is a closed system because it routes to the intake but just wondering if lets say you wanted to run a catch can with the PCV line and CCV line to it and thats it, if it would be ok to do so (without running it to the intake pipe). Then again those other cans usually eliminate the PCV valve and i'm pretty sure yours does not. I am running dual Radium cans so I have a can designated for the PCV and the other will have a line from the CCV to the catch can and then the other side to the intake pipe...but just curious.

Possibly dumb question: Does JDL ship all of the kits with the same waste gate pressure setting?

Longer piping...the cold side transitions from 2"-2.75". The 2" allows clearance for all headlights (brz, gt86, etc). 2" is a bit small on the cold side for setups looking to make 400+.

I'll let them answer that, but to give you something now, i requested 7psi and they put it in there.. Not sure what the default is.

The wastegate comes with an assortment of springs. Its enough to make 24psi on just gate pressure alone. Your best bet would be to get with your tuner to use the spring they recommend

On a side note for those who want to replace the original intake.. don't, I've gone through two filters and they can't take the heat.. they tear, so what JDL has is your best bet, either cold air or regular shorty.

Dang man. Those filters are done.

What did you mean by what JDL has? Do they have an intake pipe or something?

But for someone on stock internals not looking to make a ton of power, that setup would work out ok? How easy would it be to change it out for the larger piping down the road if one wanted more power?

@JDLAutoDesign - Jesse, did you use a chasebays harness for the tuck or do the wiring yourself? Just curious. I want to tuck my bay so bad but chasebays is the only one i know of that offers a harness and they don't plan on working on the harness any time in the near future for mass production...sigh.

It varies. We are mainly a fabrication shop and we offer parts for a lot of platforms. Every single part we fabricate has been installed here numerous times
