N/A power topic, how much do you think these would make?

Just been contemplating what power mods I would like to play around with, haven't done much in that department with my 10 Series. Definitely want to stay N/A, and I don't really have access to a tuner.

I don't even have access to E85 so this is just a hypothetical question from my curiosity.

So theoretically...how much do you think these mods would make?

K&N drop in filter (Got it)
UEL catless header
Full exhaust
Upgraded aluminum intake manifold
E85
OFT tablet (A non tweaked loaded tune from Shiv)

Not wheel hp, how much would the actual engine make?

I was thinking somewhere around 230ish? Maybe even 250???

Well if you looking for power I would buy parts that make power but to answer your question 220-225 crank hp max with that list of parts.

Also I should add don't get hooked on a dyno numbers they are pointless. I could ask you a few questions and in a day build your car to fit your driving desires and you would be stoked on how much better it drives

208.774 bhp.

OK, OK, who can prove me wrong ......... Show me the raw data ......

Seriously, Nickel, you may wish to reconsider and ask for whp.

Most HP increases measured (claimed) by people who have made modifications are stated in whp,...... as fluctuating as it may be.

Depends on what dyno you measure it. I have PSR UEL headers, cat delete exhaust and an OFT E85 tune and it has transformed the car.

I'd venture as far as saying that if you don't have access to E85 then go the headers and a tune anyway, the flattening of the torque curve from the header swap is enough to be very noticeable. Low down torque is what accelerates you and makes you grin

This.
In an ideal world you would dyno the car on the same dyno before and after modifications and look for increases.

Some folks use "Flickr". I understand you get 1TB free.

Personally, I just attach my pictures.

I would say about 50hp increase because theoretically one often ignores drive train losses.
