You can't lose getting either OFT or Ecutek.

Find what fits your budget and future goals (if any).

Better yet, find a local tuner and see what they use.

Sheesh! Just gonna chime in and say I've been generally happy with ECUtek. They keep their software updated and are constantly pushing out new features.

It'll be interesting to see what comes out of this self-tune option they just dropped. Could allow you to learn more about what goes into a tune and what to look for in your log files.

Good luck with the tune!

I have been doing this with open source stuff for the last few weeks, enough to learn that Visconti doesn't really understand some of the basic theories with engines in general. He seem to know how to use the software itself well though.
AFR at +13 on this high comp motor at 8000 rpm, looks good!!

This right here. I'd like to chime in guys, it's not a question of who has the best tune or pr or who is sprouting bs. The question, the reason for this thread was to find the best tune for a DD. I'm not a serious tuner, nor am I looking to build a monster/track killer. I just want to put some parts on it and build an efficient car. Simplicity is a winning trait for this, I would think. Feel free to tear into one another about that, or about value vs. use, but over all 'my tune is better' statements aren't needed here. Let's keep it professional.
