Um this looks 10000000x better than the Supra. I don't share your opinion on odd body lines, maybe on older Vipers, but not the recent ones.

Can't say I agree. Vipers all have that "broken frame" look where the windshield meets the hood. Like someone got all Bo and Luke Duke with it over a river.

Considering the fact I don't even like half the modded 86/BRZ's I see, with the cut up fenders, tacky obvious rivets, drift taped sideskirts, jumbo big "carbon GT" wings misaligned to trunk with no support, holes left unfilled and in some cases literally taped or STICKERED over from the removal of OEM spoilers...
I really don't mind the A90 Supra. It really grew on me when I saw it in person, especially in the right colors. That gorgeous teal/turquoise/whatever blue color in the right lighting is one of the best colors I've seen on a not-Porsche/exotic car. Plus as with our cars, you can mod the shit out of them, or will be able to as more parts come out. I've already seen some guys change the fake vents to look better, put nicer wheels on, lowering springs, etc.

$47.4k with options. Yeah that's a hard pass. Might as well get the base 3.0 for another $3.5k.

I'm the complete opposite. I thought they looked meh in all the pictures and videos, but then I saw a red one in person a few days ago. I couldn't stop staring at it. All the body lines make much more sense in 3 dimensions lol. I now think they are actually quite unique beautiful cars. Still can't afford one though. And I think I'd still want a manual if I could. 50k gets you a lot of cayman...

I think a mild drop and some deep dished TE37 style classic spoked rims do wonders for the Supra, but then that is true of most cars. I’m not a fan of widebody kits, absurd front lips and rear wings... looks silly to me unless your car is a literally a time attack/racecar. Problem with the Supra is too many are getting the outrageous bodykits and end up looking like cartoon cars or batmobiles.

The twins are more subtle for sure, and I appreciate that. They were also designed 8 years ago. The overall design language I mean. Unfortunately as is often the case in the world, subtlety is not appreciated by the masses. So car designs continue to get more aggressive, in hopes the car will stand out. I mean even basic transportation cars now look like they are ready for time attack trials. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'll be very suprised if the next-gen has not had a good shit-mist of herp-derp "agressive" sprayed all over it. Don't forget fake vents.
