@cf6mech Nice update. I like the, vents, strut bar, and bumper cover supports you made.

Nice vents I agree the heat is crazy. Love the strut brace was wondering what would clear it and the hood. :-) Any solutions on the CANBUS yet? WGP just did my CAN translator and I got my PS and AC but Temp is reading Celsius and my fuel is still in limp mode. :-/

Why would it, the weight added was minimal. If anything a turbo kit probably adds as much and in a worse spot. Also, they moved the engine back a fuck ton, which made the front:rear weight distribution better than stock.

For the life of me it over steers first......i would prefer a slight understeer first as the torque it has would easily correct that in a corner......I need to work on a sway bar set up or play with spring rates alignment and more....i have a track day set up for next month to hopefully work with Track Works to iron these issues out and get suggestions......it has a front to back bias as the original car.....I havent gone crazy on horsepower as some and what Vorshlag has plans for (500 whp+) as that in and of itself creates more issues and development work which frankly I dont want to be the guenni pig for......its time for me to enjoy what I have and what Im extremily happy with.....a FRS/BRZ with reliable 350 to the wheel horsepower with grunt out of corners.

Have you been working with the guys at TTW? I'm sure they could help with dialing in the car at the track. |

This whole project started with Texas Track Works first......its seen many ups and downs as one would expect.....the original enthusiasm has diminished quite a bit over time , not sure if the support I was getting in the beggining of this build is the same as it was at TTW.

He has no front sway bar IIRC, so it'll be more likely to oversteer than understeer.

Do you recommend that?
I have crazy over-steer issues with mine which has no front sway bar either. I was waiting for Vorshlag to release a front sway bar kit, but I don't know how long that will be or if it will be affordable. |
