Driving it hard is very easy, funny enough I find launching from a stop slowly and smoothly very hard, I have an auto btw. I'm better at it now, but the car seems very jumpy, followed by the torque dip. It obviously wants to be driven hard, and with how slow every car accelerates, it does not feel slow at all.

I think of this car as a mountain bike.

You ride a mountain bike on pavement and it's terrible. The suspension eats up all your pedaling, they're usually heavy, tires are noisy, not very fast. But the second you go from pavement to gravel, the suspension comes alive, the tires claw at the trail and it is in its element.

I often find myself in a similar situation with this car. It's my daily so I drive it to work in a city of 3+ million people, often times stuck in traffic and it feels kinda humdrum and harsh. But the second I get above 4000 rpm and keep it there for a while, it just comes alive and starts making more sense. So hell yeah I drive it hard. I redline it usually at least once a day for my 3 years of ownership and she's never skipped a beat. Driving it any other way but hard just makes no sense.
