Hey, I was wondering who has had their setup dyno'd and what numbers you were producing? I have a TRD exhaust added but everything else is stock minus the SPrintex supercharger. I'm curious what I'm outputting because everyone asks me!

Edit: Nevermind, I looked it up on their site. est. 270hp

New motor ships this week and it has 2k miles on it. Any foreseeable issues with boosting a motor with only 2k miles? I was running 6-7 psi before and plan to drive like a grandma for a like 6k+ miles after the motor swap.

Nope, it's broken in. Go for it.

on 93 or e85? if you're running the stock 75mm pulley on 93, you're gonna be closer to 250.

Thanks! I'm a noob at this, what are the pros and cons to changing the stock pulley? And what pulley do you guys recommend? Thanks

Pros:
More Boost, More power, More fun, Faster car

Cons:
More Boost, More Heat, more risk of engine failure.

In all honesty, I barely noticed any difference from my refined NA tune after putting the SC on with stock pulley. It was only after moving to 72.5mm that the car really started to be fun.
A lot of us here are running on high boost with smaller pulleys, or with the big bertha supercharger unit. I think it's safe to say that if you're careful and slow with adding power, you should be relatively in the green.

However this under no circumstances completely eliminates the possibility of complete engine failure. It's a risk you must have been willing to take when you installed the supercharger in the first place.

That having been said:
I recommend immediately dropping down to the 69mm pulley with an appropriate tune.

Keep in mind -- If you do not have an intercooler most will not recommend the 69mm pulley. It may work... but the heat produced will slowly cook everything else in the engine bay.

If you are on E85 or running on 93 with the intercooler then you are OK.

I've asked several tuners about this, and none 'recommend' the 69 with no intercooler on 93. Some say 'you may be OK with light street driving' but none could recommend due to extensive testing. At 69mm the SC produces a lot more heat than power. There's a reason why a 68 and 67mm pulley weren't created. The rule of diminishing returns applies.

With the above being said, I am happy with the 72.5mm on both 93 and E85 non-intercooled. If you want to go to 69mm let me know and I will part with my pulley (i have no use for it, as i'm going to keep running the 72.5 that I have on now). There is also a person in the classifieds on here selling the 70mm.

Can confirm that street racing on 69mm with no intercooler works fine. I wouldn't track it though, and use alcohol injection on super warm days.
Cooking your engine compartment isn't so much the issue. Hot charge air is a different story though.

So far I've been okay running the 69mm for hard sprints up to 88F ambient, but that's with a perrin intake, and water-isopropanol on anything above 84 ambient.

Is anybody using the sprintex tuner tablet on there 210 series? If so could you comment on it as far as its tune from sprintex. I am pretty sure its a carb tune. Just looking at some input as I have not seen anything and just finished up all 562 pages on the thread. Thx Steve

I haven't used it, but it is the new setup they are offering. I chatted with them back in January, but they didn't tell me much. Other than they have a tune now included. I don't know if they have carb AND non-carb tunes, but the carb thing is something they really wanted to make sure they could offer.

So bottom line, the included tune should be the carb legal tune.

It's Sprintex' own tune. The OFT is just a re-branded device, the same type is used by Sprintex.

Steve, thanks . I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I know the ecutek tune is the way to go. I am still reading and learning about it everyday. It will be later part of june before I can complete the install. In your opinion, Steve I know the ecutek will make more power, but I'm looking t get 225 to 230 whp. If I am running the 75 mm pulley with the sprintek tune in their tablet, do you think that can be obtained with the carb stage 2 tune. It is only 479.00 usd. the ecutek with all the license and tune time I am looking at over 1300.00 usd. If that is only going to make 10 to 15 hp more than the sprintex tuner I am trying to figure out which way to go. I keep reading about the bunny hop and slight hesitation these guys over here keep having with the delicious tune and the moto east tune. With yours running the way you have it tuned in the uk, have yu ever expierenced any of those problems as well or should I just look for a good tunner here in the Atlanta area where I live? I really need your help on this one steve to set my mind at ease please sir. Best regards steve
