A/F Learning Value LEAR HKS Flash Editor

Hello everyone,

I need some assistance regarding what the LEAR on the HKS Flash editor is reading. Everything looked fine in terms of numbers on the flash editor besides the LEAR which read at -12.5% the most it went up to was 1. I think I broke something. I'm thinking its a exhaust leak possibly from the manifold, being that I hear it from the front driver side. Lost of boost as well.

it should be LTFT. but if you have an exhaust leak it would be positive, or anyway more positive than it was before a leak

Boost leak after mass air flow sensor would result in negitive fuel trims if thats what LEAR is. This would happen as the maf would meter more air than what entered engine, as the ecu calculates fuel required fuel based on maf ( unless your speed density) but if some of that air leaked out as boost leak then engine will over fuel and ecu will see that in clsed loop from 02 sensor and then reduce fuel via fuel trims to try to correct issue

Check. B0V

Prospeed/ Houston

I talked to a master tuner today and that's exactly what he was explaining. I should check the BOV. Before this happened something told me to check and see if maybe the bov wasn't working as it was suppose to. I'll give it a look. I checked all hoses and everything was connected fine and tight. I'm losing my mind trying to figure this out. Thanks for the reply.
