Seconded. I'd love to have a very accurate Scan or to buy a spare from someone.

lol.

Helps to put a bit solder on one of the pads first, place the led on it so when you heat up the solder again the led will fall into place and then stay there so you can add a small amount to the other side.

I use my fingernail to hold the LED in place when tacking that first pad.

To disassemble the Nav HU just release the 10 clips around the front bezel.

Then disconnect the ribbon cable from the front panel. (Circled in red)

Then disconnect the small ribbon cable connecting the control board from the other board. (Circled in blue)

The big board in the front panel has 1 single LED on it. While the small control board has all the LED's for the volume knob and the push buttons.

To remove the large board, remove the 4 screws and disconnect the 2 ribbon cables shown here.

To remove the the control board, remove the volume knob by pulling straight out from the bezel front. Then remove the 7 screws.

this would have been very helpful when i pulled mine apart. tried just going at it with no knowhow and boy did i ever fuck it up. managed to put it back together and dealer replaced it which was nice. probably not going to try it again tho. ill just swap my JVC in which has blue lights already. other then that my car is all done ill try and post pictures later when im home if i remember
i know when i was doing it some people recomended using white lights and tint to get the colors i want.
which i did have to use for certain parts but the color just doesnt seem right coming through a piece of film. no where near as nice as just a color'd LED
@Sportsguy83
as it was stated previously. lighthouse does not make the LEDs in house. some places do but they are usually the cheap ebay brand ones that do die
so for LEDs you are pretty safe to buy from almost anywhere it just comes down to the best price. i was looking for a couple weeks and i found prices as high as $0.83 per which is just crazy. sub $0.30 is about as good as you can get.

i did blue in my monogram
and he has green in his FRS

Anyone notice the turn signals indicators on the dash do not seem to be LEDs. Is it possible to upgrade these to green LEDs?

@Chad86 they are LEDs, as evidenced by the picture from the OP (I added the red circles around the turn signals):

My bad, thanks! I thought they must be incandescent as they blink slow and sort of fade on instead of instant, but that would be due to timing to the actual indicator lights flashing, I assume.

I went through every page and didn't see it. Thanks!
