Sandwich plates tend to wiggle loose over time just from NVH and/or hitting the intake. I have to torque mine down every few months. Thought right now I have done it twice and it's still leaking I believe. Starting to get annoying but it just smells and pools in the tray. No spraying or dripping onto anything thankfully.

I wonder if anyone here (US) is going to try to swap one into their twin?

Didn't really like it in red, but it looks good in matte gray!

Probably would be easier to swap this and try to pass CA SMOG than it would be to try to register the car without having the valve spring recall performed.

I dropped off the FR-S at Toyota One of Oakland for the spring job. I left the stock header in the trunk. I think they'll swap it on. Probably easier to deal with than the Borla EL. They'll do the plugs for parts cost. A clutch job was just over 700, so I decided to pass. Got a RAV 4 hybrid loaner.

There's just something about those side hood "slat" features that make it look so weird to me. At least it stuck close to the concept unlike the ft86...

That was my go-to dealer for a while. Got to know the parts guys and a service guy pretty well over the last few years of ownership. Took the BRZ there for minor service things after my not so pleasant experience with Livermore Subaru.

Honestly, I may be one of the only ones who feel this way but I'm really liking the design and don't have many, if any, nitpicks.

The design is different and unique enough that I don't mind it so much.

I don't know that it'll become iconic like the RX7FD but it's kinda giving off the same sort of vibe in its design to me.

Definitely a more interesting design compared to its competitors (ie cayman, maybe even the Z4?) but I don't know, seems over styled to the point where it might not age very well.
