Hahaha, true. Or, state it's normal vehicle operation when they can't find what's wrong.

BTW, my 14 FR-S has less than 55k miles, but has a 85 - 90% highway duty cycle.

if they tell me normal vehicle operation, i will burn the fucking car down. i have gap so idc. haha, still no update and its been there since open. if i don't get any update by 5, i may call and check up on it. go to a drift event in a 92 sentra sedan this weekend isnt going to end well if my car isnt completed, hah

edit: and my car has 33.5k on it... mind you its been happening since 24k and they thought it was the slave, so they bled it and the issue went away for a little then came back

I fixed this issue recently on my 2016 BRZ w/19K miles as mine started getting bad with the squeaking sound. The issue causing the squeak is the pivot ball point on the clutch fork that sits inside the transmission.

Where the rubber boot sits on the transmission that surrounds the clutch fork, you need to slide this up and turn it sideways so you can access the hole it covers. Stick your fingers down the uncovered hole on the rear side of the clutch fork with the rubber boot out of the way. Get a feel for the clutch fork and try and to locate the pivot ball point. I found it by locating the center vertical point of the clutch fork and sliding my finger straight down, you will eventually feel the pivot ball point.

Once you get a feel for the location of the pivot ball point, dab some grease on your finger and apply it to the pivot ball point. Get in your car and press the clutch pedal a few times. Re-apply grease, rinse and repeat till the squeak goes away.

Once done, slide the rubber boot that surrounds the clutch fork back in the transmission. I admit, putting the rubber boot back was tricky so take your time and do it right. You don't want dirt getting in there.

Every time I see this thread, I twitch a little from the spelling of "pedal" that somehow turned into "peddle"

What started off as just squeaks became worse this cold morning.

Sounds like the HPFP crickets on steroids... Goes away when the clutch pedal is depressed.

I'm going to try the stealership and see what they say.

I have the same noise in the morning when the clutch is depressed. Goes away after a couple of minutes of driving or when clutch is not touched.
