Can I take a ride? (FI) - Houston

I've been looking into many FI kits and narrowed it down to the PTuning turbo kit and the Edelbrock supercharger (still awaiting for more testimony and data, but their previous works are always impressive). I'm sure I'd be happy with either one, but when spending that much money, I don't want to leave out any possible data or experiences that may sway me. I know the differences between the two types of setups and have ridden in other cars with FI but never one of the twins. On paper, the differences are clear, but it all comes down to the driving experience (because let's face it, we didn't buy this car for practicality).

So my question is, is anyone with a supercharger or turbo in the Houston area willing to let me ride along (or even drive )?

Just curious... Why PTuning and not something like Full Blown?

Also I'd imagine the ability to keep your header is appealing to some.

Don't get me wrong, fbm makes a pretty quality turbo kit for a good price. When it comes down to it, fbm was second on my turbo list. The difference that sold me was the undermounted turbo on the ptuning kit. Keeping the low center of gravity and keeping less heat in the engine bay. It's also mounted after the headers which allows me to use any header I'd like. The guys down at ptuning didn't mind answering any of my questions while I was doing my research, and I've only heard good things from the kit owners.

All in all, there's nothing wrong with the fbm kit. But the ptuning kit just catches my attention a little more.

We don't do correction factors.

So... fully built motor on E85 dyno sheet vs a 93 octane map. Got it.

Glad you got your car started, though.

Get your facts straight before you comment please. This dyno chart was on a stock motor, slipping clutch and spinning tires. Keep in mind that this is a mustang dyno as well. I pulled 522 on a dyno dynamics on the same setup I mentioned. But yes it's on e85, that's the only thing you got correct.

I am running the ptuning kit and i love it. If I was anywhere near houston I would let you ride along in it. Let me know if you are up in the dallas area anytime soon as I'll give you a ride here. Dont mind the people who bash ptuning. We have some douche bags up in grapevine *cough*
