nope no need to take the bumper off. Just mask the surroundings. Don't worry if you over spray on some spots. Plasti dip peels right off

I was wondering when someone would do it. Looks good.
My only fear was at what point to pull the tape so it doesn't tear.
Interested in your method for applying the required multiple coats, the time interval between them, and when you finally pulled the tape.

You should do the wheels gold, I've been thinking about doing my wheels blue or orange...though I'm about nervous about using the stuff as I have no idea what it will do to the finish.

My exact worry too! How many coats did you do and was unmasking a bitch? Meaning the plastidip coming off while taking tape off??
