I don't know how to use it.
You may want to look and see if she actually has anything in it.

Some advice.

Asperger's is just a label they give to people whos mentality/behavior falls into a defineable group. It is not something that is wrong with you, nor an excuse for anything. It is, however, useful in understanding yourself and your tendencies, and by understanding it, you can take control of it.

If you are an asshole (hypothetical useage), then you are still an asshole with Asperger's. But with Asperger's you aren't alone in the question of why you are an asshole, and enough people are an asshole for the same reason that someone figured out how those people can seem like less of an asshole to people without Asperger's.

Replace "asshole" with pretty much any character trait you want.

Tldr:. Use the tools your therapist gives you to understand yourself and how you are different, then use that understanding to improve your (insert what you want to get better at).

Not always but sometimes, if one is lucky, the right meds can help tremendously.

Decided it's time to "return" to the homeland/"The Creator" (of our wonderfully underpowered car).

Going to take a vacation in Japan next spring. Never been, of course, and it'll be my first experience in a foreign country. Everything I'm hearing so far enforces the idea that it's relatively safe and a fun place to visit.

Got some ideas already of things to do but if any of you have been there I'd welcome your suggestions too.

Current idea (in brainstorming/planning phase) is a three week trip from roughly the last week in March to the first couple weeks of April. Going to rent an 86 from Toyota for a few days and do some driving.

Other than that I just have ideas at this point but no firm plans.

My recommended go to for first timers is "Tokyo/Kyoto/Hiroshima.

2-3 weeks...
Get yourself a JR Railpass if the driving thing falls through.

Don't be afraid to hit up 7-11 and the like.
Food is cheap and SUPER good.

Check out the youtube channel "Abroad in Japan"
Guy has lots of first hand info and suggestions.

7-11 is a joke here in North America.

If you are in Japan goto Lawson and check out the Panasonic Regi-Robo automatic checkout system.
