Nope, the engine didn't crash and I didn't crash the car (I was moving forward).

Drove my car this morning. It has new coils, new sways, new trailing arms, new endlinks, new toe arms, and a bumpsteer kit installed. Got an alignment yesterday. -2.5 front and -3.0 rear. Zero toe.

Left my house at 5:15 am.

I drove almost 30 miles to work. I am slowing down to pull in the parking lot, when 2 deer jump right in front of me. I was able to swerve hard off the highway. Luckily, there was the parking lot for the rural fire station to drive into. (it is across the street from my office building)

Missed the deer, car is fine. Though, if the deer had been 100 feet sooner, I would have hit one. I was going 40 and decelerating by the time I had to dodge the deer.

Anyway, I feel very lucky!

Well now, those new suspension parts paid for themselves right there -

Drove to work today. Swerved to avoid a bouncing beach ball on the freeway.

Did not crash

Let's see if I have this straight - you were driving on a freeway in Stockton in November and had to dodge a bouncing beach ball??

Have you seen a dragon in your kitchen lately?

In this case, it wasn't the sensors, but it was poor QC on the tire install. Could have had the same problem with regular valve stems.

Honestly, since I usually leave in the dark in the morning I'm not sure I would have noticed the flats until I had gotten far enough to have ruined the tires. One of the reasons I'm not a huge fan of low profile tires.

MomHawk and I took a 900 mile (roundtrip) road trip on Sunday, returned Tuesday to be there for the birth of first GrandbabyHawk. Granddaughter/Mom are all doing well.

Despite the best efforts of idiots in 3 states to get in our way, we did not crash.

Some happy tears were shed though....
