I'll have Frisbee with me as a co-driver, so I'll be over there with you next event.

Still looks like it's going to be an awesome year for competition in STX. 3rd and 4th were not to far behind us.

What Discount Tire store do I need to order my Re71R to be part of the SCCA solo end-of-season tire drawing?
Thanks
Had such a great time this past weekend. Special thanks to @14stu and @Shneegle.

This is the link for the Equipe Rapide contingency program, I'm pretty sure it's the same for the SCCA.

http://www.autocross.com/er/2014_Tir...cy_Program.pdf

"Show your support for and thanks to Todd Eaddy and Discount Tire by buying your racing and street tires from Todd! He is at the Plano store located at: 8700 Ohio Drive Plano TX 75024 972-377-8242"

Last I heard, Todd is looking to find someone to take over for him as the Discount Tire ambassador; however, I don't remember hearing about anyone new. As long as you buy your tires from Discount Tire and keep the invoice you should be good to go.

Since the best tires aren't part of the contingency, many people will buy street tires of the appropriate brand and run them at an event just for the contingency (I did it once when I lived in Oklahoma).

Had a good time at the Equipe Rapide mirrorcross in mineral wells yesterday. Managed to get 1st in STX and 14th in PAX out of 83.

Here is my best run from each side at the event.

PRT Tuning tuned my car last weekend (178hp at the wheels ~+10hp from before the tune), and Cobb Plano corner balanced and did an alignment for me today.

Both Frisbee and I are signed up for next weekend's ER event and the 4/17 SCCA #2 event.

I think I've got our car team logo: The Frisbee SAM

Thats a pretty solid gain over stock! Did they give you a dyno sheet?

The "waiting room" was the space between the dyno and an FD RX-7 the were dropping an engine and transmission into, so I was standing next to the readout for each of the dnyo pulls and didn't ask for a printout (they didn't offer one). They were using a Mustang Dyno, which they referred to as "the heart-breaker", since Mustangs run 10-15% lower than Dynojets.

Peak HP was less than 500rpm from redline and the graph was super linear. Diagonal line until about 3500rpm, then a horizontal line for around 500rpm and then another diagonal line all the way to redline. Torque was almost entirely flat throughout the rev range (only marginal oscillations).

I probably should have asked for a printout, but I was happy with the results and never planned on bragging. My only real regret was that I didn't look at the torque number (I was too interested in the shape). All the power runs peaked above 170whp but below 180whp (last major grid lines on the screen). The last 3hp was all so close to red-line it isn't practical or usable.

Managed to eek out another win in STX today at the Equipe Rapide event, beating Brad Maxcy by .097s for first. David managed a strong 3rd place finish in the middle of a Maxcy sandwich between Jen and Brad...

Here's the video of my fastest run:

With only 2.5s separating 7 positions. STX was super competitive. You ended up beating Vincent Shepard who competed in XSTX earlier in the day.

STX is turning into a class like STR or last year's CS where there aren't really slow drivers; we've got fast and above average (I'm predicting that by year's end the competition will be even more intense with tighter finishes).
