@Zero00 good sense! Slightly off topic but wow, culture shock, no bank in the US is giving anybody anywhere close to 8%.

Yes but you also don't pay interest rates anywhere near what we pay here.
It's all relative I guess.

St George 'Maxisaver' special offer back in August - sold my Corolla Sportivo so took the Bank Cheque to deposit and they said 'put it in this one!' so I did

Got the full price of the 86 invested there now but won't have to use all of that as 'trade' comes off the price

Toyota don't "miss" orders. Its probably just a production delay due to color/spec and its easier for a dealer too blame the manufacturer.

Strange!! GTS coming thru but the flow of GT's has almost stopped!! My original order placed 2 July, well after 'Giraffe's' hasn't done a damn thing, even after Toyota said 22 October 'as little as 6 weeks for a GT' - I'm thinking the right hand has no idea what the left hand has been doing!!

I'd be interested which Dealer you ordered thru and how many orders they actually had taken but EARLY June should have been sent to Japan by now

Scifleet Brisbane had I'm told around 90 orders by the end of the first week, imagine being #75 in that lot given Toyota's methodology!!

I ordered a GT in August to see which car would come first. The GTS will be built next month. The GT is still to be confirmed. Go figure.

My order just changed status to "In Production" today. Estimated delivery date of 7/1/2013. Do you guys think it will arrive on time taking into account the Xmas holiday season?
