Strut spring perch clearance
I have about the width of my index finger gap between the spring perch and the OEM 215/40/18 Michelin Pilot 4 tires. I would like to get some 17x8 +48 wheels and 225/45/17 tires. I also realize not all tires have the same width even if they’re the same size specificstion. Only modification is OEM crash bolts. Do you think this will be too close?

I had 225/45/17's on 17x8 +45's, running -2.3* of camber up front with camber bolts and slotted stock struts. It was close, but no rubbing on the spring perch.
