Me. It sounds like it's in the center / passenger area in mine and is extremely annoying because I can hear it even with my music up

Six months in and I have heard no rattles or squeaks at all. Any drivetrain noise I have heard are not annoying, but then I have the stereo on always. For me it has proven to be a very solid, well built car.

Anyone have the speakers rattle when you turn the music up to half way?

When bass kicks my right door speaker has quite an annoying rattle.

i Just got the car 2 days ago too. I guess people at the dealership over bumped this cars stereo system...

I'm getting a rattle right in front of the steering wheel, near the window. Didn't have it last year, very annoying, tempted to take my dash apart and try and find it.

I get that rattle as well, but I have the basic system, nothing special.

Is it a rattle noise when going over a rough road? Or is it a random click/tick noise regardless of the road surface? I have a random click/tick noise and it stops when I release/unlock the steering (How I let it lose to adjust the height and depth of the steering). When I lock the steering, it starts to make the noise again. Is this what you have?

Mine is a plastic sounding rattle, only over bumps. Haven't experienced what you're talking about but I'll pay attention tonight. Hate finding more squeaks though lol

Last week I started noticing an occasional high pitched squeak coming from the driver's side dashboard speaker when some low frequency bass was playing. After a 650 mile round trip this weekend it now happens all the time, grrrr!

Hopefully the dealership can fix this when I take it in for service next week.

Update on rattles!

I've had three bugging me for about a month and just wanted to post in case someone has some of the same ones.

Rattle from the shifter: This was coming from the plastic piece at the base of the shift knob that wasn't tightly inserted inside the knob. I put some glue in between the plastic piece and the "leather" cover of the knob and solved the issue

Rattle from the rear view mirror: This initially sounded like it was coming from the right side of the dashboard, but ended up being the mirror. I actually installed the auto dimming mirror aftermarket so that could have been one of the issues. Turns out two of the screws were partially stripped so I replaced them and the rattle went away.

Rattle from the back of the car: I think some other people had this issue and solved it as well. It was just the emergency trunk release tab that had come loose. Clipped it back in place and the rattle went away.

rear-view mirror rattle

I tapped the adapter plate and switched to 10-32 screws to fix the mirror rattle:

That was my next plan of action if the thing starts rattling again! The replacement screws I got felt like they gripped pretty well so I have my fingers crossed.

It's quiet enough that you don't notice it with the radio on. It sounds like it's most likely coming from outside the car, so the diffuser, underpanels, rear wheel wells, etc. I just can't pinpoint it myself.
I just got my BRZ two days ago and I'm hearing this exact squeak...have you found the cause/resolved the issue?

Here you go.
I'm surprised that they haven't fixed it at the production level yet.

I'm probably not the only one but I get a little rattle from the passenger side door speaker (I think its the speaker). Other than that, its all solid.... so far. Only 735 miles.
