You should all sell your Scion badges to the Japanese, they love those things!

I'm not a big fan of Scion as a company. Other than the FR-S, there's nothing in the lineup that appeals to me.

That said, from a purely aesthetic perspective, I agree. The Scion badges look better than the Toyota badges IMO.

As far the Scion/Toyota badge dilemma, I eventually just settled down into not minding the Scion badge. The car is great and as far as everything goes, that's all that matters in my book.

Yea. my original plans were to get toyota badges all around, steering wheels, toyota on the bottom left and euro 86 on the right. After awhile i thought to myself, who am i tricking. On paper it's an fr-s. People who dont know anything about it is gonna think im a poser throwing badges on. My toyota 86 pride sits in the fact that all true enthusiasts know what i truly drive. Although i do have to say, seeing a full 86 conversion the the freeway makes me need a second pair of underwear. Not for me but love seeing it.

I like the scion badges. Though, like many others, my registration does say Toyota coupe on it... I'd rather save the money and get something that will make a more noticeable difference in the car.

I blacked out all my badges on my scion frs, just because I like the way it looks. But I guess since my car is raven people can't really tell what it is and I get asked all the time what is it?? Lol. Personally, I like it this way with the stock emblems blacked out. My cousin also has a black frs and when I got mine, the first thing he said is, "okay now that you got it first thing change to Toyota badges." I don't see the point.

Yup, when I first got my car, I was asked by an older gentleman if it was a new Ferrari and that he'd never seen a blue Ferrari before but it looked great.

The other day I drove through the "rich" side of town and a older lady in a porshe 911 rolled her window down at the stop light and said what model is that? As the light changed, I just smiled and waved as I drove off.

I'd just like to point out that this is a supply issue, not that people prefer Scion/Toyota over Subaru. Depending on region Toyotas/Scions make up between 60% and 90% of 86's imported.

Head on over to this thread, I wouldn't say 'people don't seem to have a problem with Scion' even though they bought the car. I don't think there's more than two pages without a complaint about the Scion brand.

I dont think people would mind Scion badge if it weren't for all those box cars , I hate that look lol. FRS just looks so out of place with the rest of the lineup.

I don't mind the Scion badges, and think it makes the car a bit more unique. Plus, for the average person, when I say it is a Scion, they think it is some exotic car manufacturer.

Haha yea that is true , especially when they see the car. It does look really nice.

But when they do know the brand , If you tell em Scion FRS they are like " one of those box cars?" .

As cool as the name and logo look , the brand is synonymous with those type of cars. Hopefully FRS will outsell all of them and give the brand a different outlook.
