Edit- or reduced wear & tear due to lower rpm?
I compared the compressor maps a few months ago and the C30-94 and C38-81 sweep through nearly the same efficiency ranges from 4000 to 7000 rpm based on my input estimates. I was looking for what would be most efficient on 93 octane with an Ace header, hbp, and redline lowered to 7000, and my conclusion was that the C38-71 would be operating in a higher efficiency range than the other two, but I'm not sure if they sell it that way.

Max Rotrex power?

Hey Jackson owners,

If there's anyone out there with a built motor running a C38 with a HBP or RS pulley on E85 making 400 plus WHP, can you PLEASE post your dyno?!? If it's from a hub type dynapak I'd prefer over 450. I've been told from several people that this is possible but you know what they say seeing is believing...

What's max psi for the C30-94?
Got the kit from a friend but my max is 12psi, not 9 at redline.

Thanks for the info Mike. I just ordered the pulley from JR sales. Sorry I didn't see your message sooner.

For a stock FA20, about 12-12.5 psi.

Hey, I'm pretty new to the world of forced induction, but I have a 2017 BRZ and I am looking at the Jackson Racing kit, or the Kraftwerks kit.

The one question I have is, do these systems still work on the 2017 MY, or do I have to wait for an update. I get that the engine is largely unchanged, but I just wanted to see if anyone else had any prior experience.

See PM.

Yes, it works with the 2017 BRZ.

I saw this the other day. Looks like it's the updated version for the MY17 cars. It was recently added to the "new products" section

The existing kit works on the 17 BRZ, but not the 17 86 bumper.

The 17 86 specific version of the kit is still in development, and as with all other Jackson Racing products, it is not ready until its ready. It will not be released until it is thoroughly tested and vetted.

For anyone who has upgraded from a c30 to c38:
I am finishing up the install of my new engine. The outlet on my new c38 rotrex unit is 2.5” -vs- the 2.0” outlet on my original c30 unit. Is this how it is? My understanding was that the kits are identical in every way except for the supercharger itself, is that not the case? Thanks in advance.

Yes. The C38 is larger outlet than the C30.
