Its been covered. They are happy with the design. The only time they encountered contact was with bad engine mounts.

Disclaimer, I'm just paraphrasing what I remember reading.

I remember them saying something about "bad mounts"... but I am just wondering how any 0-3 year old car could have mounts worn that bad. As such, I am wondering if anyone with stock mounts is going to get the contact issues.

Fricke: you don't happen to have dyno charts from stock baseline before / with header installed?

Unfortunately I have to disappoint you, have not had time to do a before and after comparison, as race season approaching fast . but on Thursday, the car going to be mapped on E85, i can of course post the results here. the most I can say so far is that the header has pickt upp som power in mid range and on top

Fricke: it's obvious, that it will bring gains .. but i wished to find out how big gains for it+tune numbers vs stock so to be able to compare with gains brought by other headers

Good things to those who wait...

Here we go:

All pulls done with Delicious stage 2 NA
Airaid intake
DimSport Italian rolling-road.

35*C
92% humidity
oil temp 80-90*C (for each pull)

Graph 1- Full OEM stock
Graph 2- USA EL LongRunner and USA matching front pipe
Graph 3- ACE 4-1 with stock Frontpipe
Graph 4- ACE 4-2-1 with stock Frontpipe
Graph 5- ACE 4-2-1 with ACE frontpipe (*frontpipe is built for specific tune)
Graph 6- ACE crossfire concept
Graph 7- ACE crossfire concept with ACE frontpipe
Graph 8- combination chart
Graph 9- combination chart

Results show USA made has highest numbers in both HP and Torque. Ace 4-2-1 has largest area under curve in torque.

ACE Frontpipe works better with custom tuned car.

For stock tune, 4-2-1 and stock frontpipe looks pretty good.

Big thanks, AceHeader.
Hmm, very interesting. Merged header seems concentrated on middle of the band, and now it's not torque dip, but rather torque hill .
But something seems off. I somewhat expected much-much higher gains with header and ecu tune over stock, as in most catless headers show +20-30whp with tune over tune-less oem stock.
"All pulls done with Delicious stage 2 NA", and stock is "Graph 1- Full OEM stock" <- stock including w/o tune, isn't it? Yet numbers of just +5whp .. it's as if they were done at stock ecu firmware. From what i see in pictures of your headers, both your EL 4-1 & 4-2-1, they both seem seem quality made, with nice large radius bends, shallow angle merge collector, no cat .. there should be nothing to keep them from at very least comparable gains as that for the others if not better.
Your 4-2-1 seems somewhat close to Nameless one, as in both have very long runner lengths, just that formed in different shapes. That Delicious stg2 tune .. might it be some OTS tune? For which header it was made for? Not by chance for stock twins with stock exhaust? Or OEM baseline is also with tune?

P.S.
What is Crossfire concept?

What is Crossfire concept?

This dyno has always produced very low figures. What we hope to show is all of these different exhaust systems on the same day, same car, same conditions. I would focus more on the % change and areas under the curves (derivatives) rather then the actual numbers themselves.

We've tested on a Mustang and had this same 4-2-1 system and tune come in above 200hp, so the numbers truly are relative.

The crossfire is an experiment switching the primary's order into the merged collector areas. This is only a one off at the moment as we're still playing around.

We have photos of all the systems and will post shortly

You mean integrals.

Looks like the "USA EL long runner" header makes the most power from 4500-7400 RPM. Would probably be my choice for a track-only car. But gives up a lot of torque under 4500 RPM.

For a daily driver or DD/track mix, the "4-2-1 full 02" seems to be a good compromise.
