Cool So basically I got to go to Japan to build my own BRZ?

So in Atlanta there seem to be no BRZ's anywhere, checked Autotrader and the closest is like 400 miles away. I heard this car is tough to get but wow, that is amazing and pretty awesome for the Subie/Toyota team.

Its an option of cars I am looking to maybe work on but seems I might be able to even get one

Give me hope:happy0180: lol

Same boat, none near San Jose, CA, or at least reasonable distance.
It seems like most BRZ's are given to reviewers and aftermarket markets...

You guys need to ship it from the northeast to get one any time soon. We have a glut up here. Most are going pretty close to invoice.

Cheaper to buy in the US than in Japan.

This works. Sure, I paid an extra $600 to have it shipped but it was pretty easy to find the car I wanted.

You can't hardly get one at all if you're in Japan, lol.

What's wrong with driving 400 miles? I'd do it for the right car. Drove over 600 miles to buy an RX-7 once... You could always buy one in New England and either drive it back or have it trucked back to Atlanta; that seems to be what a lot of people are doing. If you decide to go that route I might be able to help.

Ship from Colorado. Mike Shaw or Heuberger... Mine is on the way, $600 below MSRP, which pretty much covers shipping to CA.

Probably the best option is to find it Out-of-state (for CA people) and drive it/ship it back, if you want it now. The only two dealers in NorCal (Livermore and Capitol in San Jose) do msrp but you can find that out-of-state.

Had to pass on a DGM Limited Manual because timing wasn't right (and it was 1200 mi away from me).

Happy Hunting!

When I was doing the deal on my BRZ, the salesman told me there was a couple from Oakland sitting at another table, they flew up to Portland, were buying thier BRZ, then driving home...to Oakland. They said it was totally worth it...after owning the car now, I would have done the same damn thing...
