Red face Apology

Hello everyone,

I would like to issue an apology to all members of this forum for this thread:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16656

It was crass, crude, and shameless. Opinions are opinions, but they should be told to others in a civilized and non-personal manner, which I clearly failed to do. Instead, I chose to make the argument personal and offensive. So if I offended anyone who drives an automatic FR-S or if I offended anyone on this forum, period, I am sorry. It was not my intention, my intention was simply discussion over the topic of manual vs. automatic transmissions.

Hope you guys forgive me, especially @Guff.

- Kyle

Where else would I put it? If I put it in Off-Topic, it would be banished into oblivion and you guys would still think I'm a narcissistic troll.

Good job. I'm sure all of us would like to have a "do over" now and then.

I did read that thread and shook my head more than a few times. Like you said, opinions are fine until they become social weapons aimed at other people.

Kudos to you for taking the mature step.
(I personally don't want the auto either, but fully understand the reasons why some do). I'd still like to drive one at some point to feel the difference.

the fact that that topic is older than your join date is what offended me. take a moment to use the search filter next time you want to join in on a discussion.
