Got real lucky this weekend!! Brackets broke right off...It did not grind right threw my oil reservoir!

Think I remember seeing @KraftWerks have made some new brackets?

You can buy two large "P" clamps with rubber cushion and be done with it. They look like this:

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Gardner-B...7795/100160272

You'll need to find the correct size/ diameter to wrap around the whole reservoir though.

CJ doesn't work for the company anymore. Seems like a lot of people are having that issue. I would make your own brackets from home depot and put rubber washers to absorb the vibrations. Good luck getting someone to help out. KW customer service has been REALLY difficult to work with recently with myself and a few others on the FB group. Good luck.

My pulley bearings all have play after 8000kms (belt tension was checked throughout). I'm pretty sure I saw someone else with the same problems. It looks like the bearing loose their grease and wear themselves out prematurely. I started to hear a knocking sound so I took the belt off to check. I'm so glad it wasn't coming from my motor though.

They appear to be generic 6203-2RS no-name bearings. I love the kit but the cost savings that KW made seems to be biting us in the behind.

Also, does anyone else hate the fasteners that KW supplied? They look like sh*t after a few years turning a rusty colour.

Sound like me 2 years ago. That pulley should come pre-installed with larger fasteners and loctite-red.

Well, replacing the bearing has only helped a little bit... Seems like the actual bearings in the blower are shot. Just stumbled upon this video and Tommy is seems like he has already experienced what I'm seeing.

I am looking for the stock 95mm (30 wide) Cog style pulley. Any chance anyone has one laying around and would sell it to me? Kraftwerks is on back order for 60+ days.

I have a 90mm if anyone would like to trade

Thank you in advance.

The rubber o ring that they supply is too big for the ring groove at the bottom of the sandwich plate. So what will end up happening is once it gets hot enough; the rubber will deteriorate and cause an oil leak.

also if you check my build thread, found in my sig, you can see how i stacked a perrin spacer and the mocal spacer and mocal thermostat together to make something to clear....
