I haven't tried that one yet. I'm also pretty miffed about these new Gr.1 races. I WANT RACES FOR THE LEMANS PROTOTYPES THAT DON'T INVOLVE THE BULLSHIT MADE UP VGTS.

Yeah! It’s crazy hard! I saw one vid guide & the guy made it simple. He’s like “Oh use this car w RH tires & pit in once. Lap around in 1:55 range & you'll easily win.” I’m 3 secs behind that!

If anyone trying out Menu 42 & looking for a solid car, I highly recommend Mazda LM55 VGT Gr1. It’s easier to drive than a lot of VGT cars. Just make sure to mod it & detune to PP950.

I feel you with the VGT's. They're a respectable achievement, for PD to have partnered with these companies to make these things it's pretty crazy. Sadly though their presence in races detracts from the game. It reduces the reality-ness or something. Then we end up resenting the dumb fantasy cars.

Congrats on the F1. I had a cold over the weekend and thought OK this is it, an excuse to sit down and grind it out to get it.. but I just couldn't bring myself to do it! It's tough because it's probably gonna be 2 mil more cr the next time it comes around

They can include all the VGTs they want IMO, just give me a little check box in the game settings to disable/exclude them from all "real" race events.

I think I'm going to attempt to beat the Gr.1 Menu with the game setting on normal, instead of Hard (which i've used for everything). Perhaps that will give a chance with real cars.

Getting the F1 pegged my car collector status off the charts. I was at level 43 and that one car shot me to 50. Already did a little grinding so I can get the 288 GTO. One more 24h Spa race and I'll be able to nab that one.

Weird how the cap is level 50 tho. I'll pick up that F1 if it is still at the legends tonight.

19.4 mil for the F1!? I'll pass for now. I'd rather get the long tail race version.

Tried re-tuning the 787B and changed fuel strategies. Mamaged to get 2nd in the Gr1 Daytona race. Keeping it on hard.

Anyone else been experiencing server issues the past couple of days. GT7 and Rocket League both have been unable to connect to the server for me.

I forget what time of the day I was having issues. It's very weird since only those two games are affected. I tried Nier, and it works. I don't really have any other games that require group play, but I'm guessing it was just that type of games.

Well, tried this Gr1 race with the McLaren VGT Gr1. Was making good progress, but just like with the F1 GTR, it's an unforgiving car to drive.

Bought the Mazda, and got these results. Still kept it on hard difficulty.

Nice! Isn’t LM55 easier to drive? Of course it’s AWD, so it does understeer some area, so overall I liked it!

It doesn't feel as fast as the McLaren VGT, but lap times say otherwise. LOL. I messed with the alignment, so understeer is very minimal. Crazy how it can take R130 at Suzuka at 180 mph! Very good car, but I only have the McLaren to compare it to in terms of Gr1 VGT cars.
