Perhaps what OP meant was, it was an "affordable" option and wanted to try something new. I personally don't care for the EB lineup, and that's okay. I'm sure the logic behind getting the mustang over the 86 was "how can I get a great handling, forced induction ride on the cheap, and still have it be somewhat reliable (from the factory)?"
@Dadillac, keep us posted with an owners review comparing the two after a few weeks/months of living with the car. |

How is that not cheap? First off I could give a rats ass if it ever sells. Makes me no difference. The price that is listed is only about 300 more than I got on trade. I get the feeling that the majority of forum members (not just this forum) live in a fantasy world on what cars are worth and what they really paid for their cars. 75% of MSRP for a barely model year old car is cheap. I actually think the car is worth more. And I still feel I got ripped off on the trade but I accepted it so that is on me. Whatever I guess
And actually it doesn't even matter any longer as the car must have sold because it is no longer listed. Congrats to the new owner you got a brand new used car. If it was a forum member you are welcome to the winter tire set at $400. Bought them last year for $1100 and they have about 1500 miles on them. But now I guess most will say that they are only worth $100. I already posted why I traded the 86 for the Mustang when I did the trade in September. As far as the cars compare 86 Pros Seats most comfortable I have ever owned Mileage is better Corners better than Mustang but not as much as you think Steering. Enough said Oil change was easier as it was all done from the top Mustang Pros More power. Giddy up More comfortable overall Better ride comfort Clutch has way better feel to it Way easier to get in and out of Larger trunk space Real center console Better dash layout with better gauges Way better sound system Rear seats have a little more leg room but surprisingly less head room Way more features like leather, heated cooled seats, Power seats, heated steering wheel, navigation, etc Overall I am very happy I made the switch. The Mustang has the 2.3 Ecoboost. Not the 2.0

I'll give you $50 for the set of wheels, you ship them and have them mounted and balanced on my car, and include hazard insurance - Good on ya, there, Dadillac, some day the doubters may understand why you made the trade - humfrz |

It's a used car. It loses 10% of its value as soon as it's driven off the lot. By now it should have lost about 25% of its original value which--surprise--would put it right at $24K.

Only to people who don't understand depreciation. For the rest of us, that price was right in line with what it should have been. Seems as though you don't understand what "used" means either. |
