2 reasons I didnt mention said tuner by name.

1. unfortunately what @Frostyman said is the truth. if you read enough threads, you'll find other people disgruntled with said tuners customer service.

2. I'm not here to bad mouth people, only to share my experience. While I did have an unsatisfied experience with one tuner, I had a great experience with another.....FA20Culb. Instead of telling you who to stay away from, I would like to think from my experience you (and everyone else) would like to consider FA20Club before anyone else.

I posted this in response in another thread a day or two ago regarding the same notion.
@Frostyman, if a thread is deleted, it is very possible it contained offensive words or some other reason, NOT because said vendor is untouchable.

If a negative post has been remove regarding one vendor, but then a negative post about another vendor is not deleted, it might be because of several reasons like,

the post deleted contained offensive and/or derogatory comments while the other one is constructive negative review

the moderator or administrator looking into it did not notice the other post.

I repeat it again, there is NO personal preference from one vendor to another here. It is funny, because you guys have seen negative posts towards one tuner being deleted, or some posts that should be deleted haven't right? But I bet you guys didn't see when that "favored" tuner had HIS posts deleted and given a warning for posting stuff in other vendor threads. That DID happen some time ago. Please, don't judge the work of the admins/moderators without knowing the backstory. The vendors you guys think are "special" are treated just like any other vendor or forum member when it comes to forum rules. If you guys see something out of line not corrected, report it or contact moderators directly and let them know. Chances are they have no idea it is happening.

Edit: Just so we are clear, I cannot moderate any area outside of the Southeast region, so I cant moderate, delete or modify any post in the forum outside of the Southeast Region, I am just posting based on the little bit of knowledge I have regarding what happens between the lines here. Well sportsguy, you were there. You saw what I posted. There was no offensive language. I presented a screenshot of a conversation that made one person look bad, and it was deleted, along with every response to said post. It's not a conspiracy, it's just what happened. However, it's off topic for this thread.

I know what you mean. I know you don't mean harm other than help other members. I don't know the exact reason for that deletion. I can only say lets all move forward and hopefully things keep moving along peacefully. :happy0180:

Yes, there is a Vendor review section where anyone can post any type of review, as long as there are not insulting words, and specifically it is your direct experience with the vendor, there is ZERO reason that would be deleted.

I was installing the intercooler Vortech sent and was reminded of another tip

- As per the instructions, you start taking the intake off along with other things in the engine bay and then move onto removing the bumper and installing the piping and intercooler. In order to get the bumper off you have to remove 3 phillips head clips on the inside of the fender. Take these off before doing anything. Start the car, turn the wheel, take them off, turn the wheel the other way and remove the other side. If you dont do this step first, you cant start your car and turning the wheel sucks if its not started.

If you have a right angle phillips head screwdriver, then you don't need to turn the wheels. They are very handy.
