Traction control and ABS light on after LCA install

Just installed some SPC lower control arms today, and while the install seemed to go off without a hitch, now my traction control (car with wavy lines underneath) and aBS lights are on.

I tried using my OpenFlash tablet to see if there were any ECU codes, but it came back saying there were no codes present.

Not sure if they're just on because the alignment is way off, or if there's some other issue. I have an appointment to get an alignment tomorrow, so if that's all it is, it would be great.

In the meantime, any ideas on how I can solve this?

Did you remove the wheel speed sensors before you pulled the axles out of the hubs?

If not, they are toast. The magnetic disks on the axles will also be bent. Look for the service manuals in my sig line.

Nothing I read/watched said anything about removing wheel speed sensors. Just had to unbolt the 5 bolts (4 on the one side) for the hub, shock, endlink, and attachment point (and the headlight leveler on the one side). Then simply swap in the new lower control arm and reattach the bolts (and use the new bolts for the hub assembly).

This is the main video I used:

I watched several other videos, and they all basically followed the same template. None of them even mentioned the wheel speed sensor.

Hopefully that's all it is. I've been doing a little research, and apparently the alignment being off can trigger these two warning lights.

As I said, I've got an appointment at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning to have an alignment done, so keeping my fingers crossed that will fix the issue.

Yeah. I'm an idiot. You don't have to move the carrier for those. NVM.

Had the alignment done this morning and that took care of the issues. Didn't realize until I was driving up to the shop how bad the alignment was - steering wheel was pretty heavily off-center. The shop actually recorded a steering wheel angle error in the ECU before they did the alignment. Not sure why the OpenFlash tablet didn't show the error code on their end when I checked yesterday.

Either way, it's all set now and she's handling great again!

I suggest zeroing out the VSC system. Should be the minimum labor charge at the dealer. All they have to do is plug in and click a couple buttons.
