also log commanded afr and afr and fuel trims, some simple maf scaling may solve those issues sme cars are a little different.

I’ve got the Tomei UEL and Delicious Flex Fuel kit (and tune).

It is really great. After I installed it, they had me take logs, and then continued to send me tune revisions and have me take more logs until everything looked good.

It’s quite an improvement over stock

Are you running the correct tune?

With the OFT there are different types depending on the header. Most people run UEL headers so when most people talk about the Stage 2 tune for the OFT they specifically mean for that type of header.

You mentioned you are running the EL headers. Last i used OFT there was a specific tune for the EL headers and the UEL headers as they both treat air flow differently.

Make sure you arent running the UEL tune by accident.

for OFT tunes there's only difference for cat and catless header tunes (stage 2 for catted headers, stage 2+ for catless headers). if i'm not mistaken there aren't different tunes for UEL and EL. at least not for the off the shelve tunes.

OFT V2 tunes had seperate EL/UEL tunes, V4 does not

There's some speculation that V4 is based on UEL and you may be losing out vs. V2 tunes on an EL header.

You will not be disappointed. I am sure you could make it run good on OFT you would just have to invest a lot of time.

Time to shut down this thread. I just ordered the best NA package available: CSG’s ACE 350 header, flex fuel kit with Delicious stage 2 tune. Now the waiting starts.

As long as your expectations are realistic, you should really enjoy that combo. So congratulations, glad you made a decision and in my opinion the correct one. Zach and DT are easy to work with on revisions, and as your car adjust to the new tune, lil tid bits of power will keep being added. Once you have the latest revision from DT running for a few weeks. Go try and drive a stock BRZ again on a test drive or a friends car, or whatever. Then get back in your ACE/DTFF car, and truly appreciate the new power, and throttle response you have added.

Good luck to you.

Nice combo! I have the FF kit from Delicious as well being paired with my JDL UEL headers. I actually had the privilege of Zach tuning my car in person (instead of an e-tune) and the car is running amazing.

I would agree with the above statment. Make sure your expectations are realistic. Dont expect all of a sudden turbo power. The car WILL be more powerful and deliver power a lot more linear. But it WONT kick you back into your seat when you mash the throttle like a turbo will.

I don’t expect too much from this setup over my current Tomei OFT, I just want the power delivery to be more linear. Of close I’m trying to anti-jinx it because I’m really looking forward to the power gain from the ACE header and flex fuel kit.
