Issues with door adjar light

After searching i noticed the trunk release tab was very sensitive but after checking it and making sure it was very secure the light still comes on. i have checked all sensors (doors as well) and the latch itself. if any one has some input it would be greatly apprciated

Oh, ol humfrz has a simple solution to most problems .... but, they usually don't work .....

I suggest you spray a bit of WD-40 or silicone spray in the trunk latching mechanism and open and shut the trunk several times, to see if will loosen up the switch.

Not that I know of.

If the lubricant doesn't work, you may consider taking off the plastic cover over the latch assemble and see if you can manually trigger the switch.

OR, you could "fix" it by the hillbilly method and simply place a piece of electrical tape over the indicator light .......

Oh yes, make sure you have the car door closed when you are back there messing with it and looking through the back window to see if the light will go off. And NO, I'm NOT going to tell you how I know that .....
