@Draco_PR23 hooked me up so I'm all good. Now, is there any way I can get one of the remaining oil cooler kits allocated to me? I'm working with Dewey at thmotorsports.com

Just ordered the AVO 3" down pipe/overpipe/front pipe from Paul. I'm pretty pumped to get this on my car and see what kind of gains it has. I currently run 2.5" down pipe/overpipe/frontpipe into a 3" non resonated Perrin Catback and am making just over 300whp @ 15psi. I anticipate this will shift the spool point over and maybe make a little bit more top end too.

Hey guys,
New guy here, so sorry if this question was answered before. I am looking at this kit to turbo my car and was wondering if the TRD CAI would work with this? also, what would I need for a 8psi boost level? I've got an AT so I will follow @BRZrangers build closely, any other advice for a turbo noob? :P

Negative to the big TRD intake box working. If you want a different intake you need to choose one that works with the stock airbox location. Mishimoto and Perrin are proven to work. I think Greddy and Blitz have ones that could potentially work, not sure if anyone has tried them for confirmation yet. If you wait AVO have teased a fancy new air box on their race car which I'm sure will come to production.

8Psi is easy. Buy the stage 2 kit, has the 8psi waste gate actuator and upgraded MAP sensor and base tune to suit.

Cool, I've been looking for what their stage 2 kits includes, but on AVOturboworld.com I can't seem to find a stage 2 kit, I just see the stage 1.

What is included in the stage 2 kit? Also, if I am going to use this as a DD with some spirited driving every once in a while, would I need more for cooling beside the oil cooler and FMIC?

I believe Paul has made the website a little bit easier to order; allowing customers to personalize what exact product they want. As you get down to the bottom of the page it allows you to choose what you want for fuel upgrades, billet or no billet, and so on. Personally I would suggest you to go with the Billet wheel, 8Psi Actuator, Ecutek Items for starters. If you want fuel options you can also get them at a later time but it is not necessary until you get closer to the 11-12 psi area depending on your fuel option in your area.

so, just to clarify, by choosing the 8psi actuator + 3bar map sensor and base map, that is the stage 2? Also, would you need to upgrade from the stock fuel pump and injectors running at that 8psi map?

I live in Hawaii, meaning I would have to get it e-tuned (Which any advice on would be greatly appreciated) and we also don't have a track or drag strip, so this will probably be where my end goal will be (unless I move lol)

By you choosing the 8psi + 3bar map sensor and base map, Either Billet wheel or standard will give you the Stg 2. If you are planning to run 12psi or less theirs no need for upgraded injectors or fuel pump. If you plan on going more than 12psi in the future I highly recommend going with the upgraded fuel pump and Injectors as 12psi is the limit most of us have seen.

In regards to E-tune, You can always have @DeliciousTuning send you an E-tune. I know a lot of people with the AVO kit going to Bill for their tunes.

I'm running 12.2psi tapering down to 10 by redline on stock fueling, 8 psi actuator and an electronic boost controller.

Thanks for all the helpful responses!

Just a question, did you guys who are running at 8+ psi upgrade your brakes? and if so, what did you do? I've read for DDs pads and SS lines are okay, but I;m wondering for spirited drives that last for around 30 mins. Would this still be okay? or should I fork over mulah for BBKs?

I guess that makes sense. Just out of curiosity, how much was that Sti conversion?

And what pads did you go with? Is that your dd also?

I bought nice condition brembo calipers, new Dba 4000 rotors, hawk pads, and rear caliper brackets. It was about 2000 cad for everything
