Curiosity question.
Why do Tein SRCs have a remote canister on the rear but not on the front?

Negative or positive camber at the front? I've gone with the Whiteline/SPC camber bolts. |

Awesome thread! thanks for helping out the community like this. I'm picking up an FRS on saturday to replace my current 335i. I AutoX once a month and do track days about every other month so the running costs on the 335i are getting a little excessive to say the least. But thats besides the point my question is with the same track time above on the FRS (dual purpose track/dd) I was wondering what spring rates do you guys thing will be good option? I'd rather focus more on the track aspect than the street aspect.
I was actually looking at the RCE Tarmac 2 Clubsports as in my research those seem to be the best bang for the buck in terms of the track performance I'm looking at. Would I need camber plates for those? I plan on running 18x9.5 for the street and probably 17x8 on track. Thanks for any advice! |

Our T2 Clubsports are a good choice for dual purpose cars. Lots of track, street, and auto-x development and they're being used extensively by FR-S/BRZ guys and girls for all of it. - Andy |

I plan on running 265/35/18 Hankook V12 for DD duty and 245/40/17 Hankook RS3 for track/autox.

I already purchased springs and planning on buying struts later on. Is there such thing as a height adjustable strut? And would replacing the OEM struts with aftermarket ones add anymore of a drop or would it be the same as just the springs plus the OEM struts??

With a fast and furious avatar to boot. lol Adjustable coilovers fit the bill for being adjustable. Typically changing out the strut does not lower the car any more, but I've seen fixed perch struts that have the perches mounted lower effectively giving you a drop. Bilstein make some I think, not so sure.
