I might finally be taking the plunge on wheels. My ideal wheels are Rays Gramlights 57Xtremes but I really don't want to pay 400+ per wheel. I understand the quality and original design etc etc but still can't justify it. Was going through a thread about 57xtreme replicas and someone mentioned the Avid.1 AV-20. Holy shit these are perfect and NLmotoring has them on sale right now for 140 a wheel.....as soon as I get home I have a new set of wheels to order.

I was in the same boat. The reps will do fine. My XXRs aren't bad for the price, couple runs in the paint and it chips super easy but for $115 a piece I can't complain much. Might get new ones next year anyways though. I don't race on them just push my corners a bit so I'm confident they won't explode

That's my thought process as well. One takes a crap? Put the spare on for a few days while I order a new one. I also have a friend who does hydro-dipping as well as powder coating so I may have him paint them preemptively.

Has anyone made a half inch drop for our cars yet or is that so minimal that no one would ever bother? I really don't want it too low, so I guess I can either not lower it, or just get the RCE yellows. I'd rather have half an inch though.
