Would any brand aftermarket hid kit for jdm /euro gt86 work on these?
Say if i have an aftermarket hid kit that works for the jdm gt86 but i'll need to relocate the ballast would it still work?
I've found a diy for the conversion of the jdm headlight to be install onto the frs with repin wire instructions for all functions to work so i'm seriously considering of going that route if i have to.
These lights is just tooo damn sexy for it not to be on my car

Its hard to say if any D4S hid kit would work, I hope someone steps up and tries it. I have been looking at ways to make it work on our 86 GT model in Australia which is very similar to the FRS but it will take time to get everything and work out the details. If I get it working ill be sure to post about it!

Hi
thank you LED86 for your contribution. I have purchased and install them on my GT86. My car didn't have OEM HID. I had to buy used OEM ballast and bulbs. I had to take it to a professional electrician becase we don't need all the wires. It is pretty simple. Test light to know which wire correspond to which light. Take the old connectors of the old lights and repin the new light according to your test with the car connector.
you don't have to use replay because the car comes with one (my car did). You can jumper the DRL relay in the fuse box to get the DRL working through factory wires with external rewiring.
You need to disconnect a white plastic connector that joins the orrange wire to make the signal work. You can find it under the wires grommet. There will some extra wire you won't use.
I'll post some pics of the wiring one i take them.

If Any one looking to install them soon in Dubai, i can help, guide you to the right electrician

Are those Valenti turn markers as well? I'd kill for those since I already like the RS 1.0 Daytime set. Can you buy those separately or do they come with the headlights?

Yes they will fit and connect no problem with the brz. They come with these small rubber pieces which I assume is to fill the gap in the front bumper on the brz.
