Where did you get the spacer bolt? I have looked everywhere with no luck. They all day it only comes with the kit.

I guess I could remove the thermostat in mocal unit, but I would like to keep the cost down and have bungs for pressure and temp.
Mocal adapter w/o thermostat available for about $130. You can special order through any of our vendors who deal in Mocal.

Part no. MOC-SP1-fa20.

Pm if you can not find it.
Good luck

Robispec just came out with an oil cooler adapter plate that eliminates the need for a spacer, and it has a hole for a sensor. I can't give you a link for them, but he's on the forum all the time and you can see it on this thread:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...=26424&page=12

I would have gone with this had it come out before I did my setup.

Do you have a link to the sensor sandwich plate you used?

I just saw this thread, and this looks interesting, especially in regards to not clogging up the front bumper with various coolers. How much is this oil/water laminova cooler kit costing?

Why would you not want a thermostatic sandwich plate? Isn't a thermostatic one better at warming up cold oil and cooling hot oil?

Thermostatic cuts off flow when cold, opens when warm. When cooling with ambient air it's useful not when using the coolant system

About 450 for the core + lines + fittings, without sandwich plate.
