If you turn that around, your FRS must have been "crushed" that its careless owner took her out in such cold and wet (I am making a presumption here) weather!!

Ahhh but you would have presumed wrong. It was 12C (54F), sunny and dry yesterday.

Got the FR-S all put back together and took it for a drive for the first time in a month. Brake lights were out. Reseated fuses. They worked again.

Did not crash. Did not get pulled over.

Merry Christmas.

Welp, I made my weekly Walmart grocery run today. Yep, I missed MOST of the old folks crowd (they usually shop on Tuesdays).

However, on my way out of the parking lot, this old fool in a huge, white SUV tried to back into the drivers side of my FR-S. I yanked the wheel and just barely missed getting hit!

Old people should have to take a driving test every year that includes a backing up test. Then if they don't pass it, they should have to install a reverse gear lockout on their vehicle that engages right after they exit their garage.

My lesson learned, besides parking next to a cart rack at the far end of the parking lot, is that when you leave the parking lot, NEVER head towards the store when you exit - I don't care if the back way is the long way around!

I did not get crashed into.

Drivers like that make a strong case for self-driving vehicles.
