i was told that soft top was axed yes but they are going to do a hard top version

Both axed, it says that in the title of the article lol. You also missed the most interesting part of the article... New Supra with Toyota and BMW collaborating to build it. Cool to see some official info on that front. I had a feeling when i heard rumors about this collaboration that it would be towards the Supra, maybe developing a flat 6 engine? Twin turbo? Or my dream would be if they just put in ITB's on the flat 6... Mmmmmm

I think it all makes sense. Supra successor will probably go to Lexus as an "LSF" or something like that, JDM version will be a Toyota because they like to troll like that.
It fills the void for a high performance sports car, FR-S fills the low-end sports car niche, and receives incremental updates as a NA, as it gains more options and remains the Scion halo car. |

No power upgrade for our cars unless the transmission is drastically upgraded.

My guess is Subaru will be the one handed job of the turbo or SC for the twins as Toyotas putting alot of time into the 2015 Supra. Hope it happens as I'd love to get one if it looks to be good.
