Is there any problem of running this kit in extreme cold? Say 0 degrees? I ask because the oil cooler for the blower has no thermostat and could run that oil down to a bone chilling level. @KraftWerks?

The specs on the rotorex fluid claim something like -40. Also, cj is fantastic to deal with, anytime i've emailed with questions or concerns they were answered in short notice on the same business day. |

"Min inlet oil temperature Toil, inmin -40°C (-40°F) Max inlet oil temperature Toil, inmax +80°C (176°F)" Even at 0 you should be fine although I'm not quite sure who is wanting to be anywhere but bundled up by a fire drinking some hot cocoa when it's that cold out. Quote:

The temperature window above is for the Rotrex Oil Temp itself, not engine oil temp. There have been customers in the past that have put an inlet, oil temp gauge on the kits to monitor this as well. |

@KraftWerks I installed the new revised high boost kit you just sent me(thanks again) now the car feels faster I got the 90mm and the 128mm pulleys, it's it safe to say this set up is making more than 12 pounds of boost? I don't know if my map sensor is maxed out. Or its just my butt dyno playing games with my mind. My boost gauge doesn't read more than 12 but it's a 2 bar (denso)map. What you guys think. Thanks

Typically there is a small difference between what the sensor is seeing and what the gauge sees (with gauge being lower). The boost should be about the same as the previous high boost but then again, it also is getting colder.... there is more potential with a more dense charge of air. |
