It's the other side of the overpipe that's not connecting

Ahh okay, didn't much in the pics, thought it was from the over pipe back. I know my setup is 3" turbo back so it wouldn't have been an issue.

Disconect the overpipe from the front pipe. Install overpipe to header, then attacher the front pipe/catback.

Yup pretty much looks the same, that stock over pipe should bolt right up no problem, but mine also does not, putting stress on the turbo and exhaust

Is that a 4 bolt downpipe or a V band downpipe? Can you rotate it? I agree that you should connect everything from the front going backwards in order.

I had the same problem with my DP, I had a local fab shop cut off the last section weld it up correctly, I have Full Blowns 3" turbo back so I had him weld in a 3" flange instead of the reducer it came with, I agree that Full Blown customer service was great

@Mikeez @Ironsquid @Reaper @Travisty75 @Kiske @King Tut @Infamous Performance

I wanted to thank everyone who graciously was trying to help me out with my water in intake problem many posts ago.

My car has been all better for a while now. She's seen some road course sessions and some autocross sessions this season and is running strong.

The steps I took to remedy the situation were:

1. Converting the PCV crankcase catch can to vent to atmosphere.
2. Laying down a thin piece of vinyl material underneath the black, metal bracket at the front of the engine bay.
3. Placing a piece of window weather stripping to reinforce the seal between the hood and front bumper.

After all the discussion, I still believe that the water was coming from a bad seal at the hood/front bumper. The water was running down the holes where the black bracket was mounted onto the air filter where it was sucked into the system. I did a lot of testing and that seal would consistently leave large puddles of water along that area after rains or car washes. The black metal bar is actually already starting to develop some rust around the screw holes.

The vinyl layer I placed made it so water that did leak past the seal couldn't get through the holes where the rivets lay. The weather stripping made the seal at the hood/bumper much more rigid which helped stop any water from entering there.

For safety and piece of mind, I also vented my crank case catch can in case this was causing the issue all along.

I really would be interested to see if anyone else has issues with water entering the engine bay through that seal. I'm willing to bet we see this happen again in the future.

Either way, i'm happy I've got it figured out. Thanks again to all that have provided brain power to helping me solve my problem!

I am pretty sure that the way they intend you to hook them up is to install the T/manifold into the brake booster hose that comes off the back of the manifold and then run that over to the passenger side where you install another T with one side going to the BOV and the other side going to the wastegate.

Interesting. I still don't see how that much water would get past a properly oiled K&N filter unless the filter was sitting in the water. Pics would be great.
