I'm actually waiting on West Coast SCCA to reply my email... but haven't got any. This also include my local track too.
Nope! But there is a huge difference if I (or others) can drive to Florida or Maine!

A city or a near city would help since some people might not want to venture out too far from where they live.

It can easily influence a decision, say if it were in PA, it'll be great for the top half of the East Coast to make it out.

If it were in Florida, that'd be a pretty long drive for the top half of the East Coast and a decision to either go or not as opposed to a place near them.

Just helping!

Thing I learn from 2 yrs making this event. It doesn't really matter near or far from the city, if member really want to come, they'll come! First year, I've seen a couple came from England. Last year, I've seen a guy come from Canada & couple come from Florida.

My goal is to make it worth that travel by having blast time! & this year, staff & I will do our very best to make it awesome again! But thanks for the feedback

Probably get more votes if we at least had some clue what part of the very long "East Coast" we were looking at. More people will vote once we have an idea of how far way it is.

Pretty sure the major reason why we don't have as much votes is because we don't know which part of the East Coast it is. I understand that if you truly want to go to this, you would go no matter what, but people also have other plans going on that day.

Also, factor in maybe some have kids or families to visit. There are a lot of factors that I think posting at least which state the event is going to be in, will help the decision for some people.

Just putting it out there!

We completely understand your concern, but as we cannot confirm or deny any location at this time, it's difficult for us to gauge where exactly it will be held. We literally have possiblities all over the East Coast and we are trying to figure out the best location based on the information here, and other factors.

I know it's frustrating, but hopefully we will have a location for you soon.
Thank you for your patience.

Just like FRSTRM stated, currently it could be anywhere in East Coast (maybe central US). You guys think, we get more votes by knowing there it is? Here, this one we're currently voting is in NC. But FYI we're looking at New England, Southeast or even back in VA to see if we can do it in different date.

Hope that answer you guy's question

Not just idle curiosity there Ich. Knowing at least a basic area could be a big part of how long people would attend and if they could make it at all. If I had to drive to Florida I can't go but further north is doable. I am sure many others are in the same position when trying to decide if they can make it or not.
